First Choice Life with Dr. Tim Weir

Dr. Weir was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin…and the cold definitely affected him.! There are a few things from his childhood that have brought him to where he is today. First, from an early age, he could sit at a piano, and begin to play songs he had just heard on the radio. Second, he loved to cook as a kid. He was the only boy in Wisconsin with an Easy Bake Oven. Third, the entire family loved to travel. They would pack up the family station wagon and head to all parts of the country. Fourth was his desire to help sick people get well. He remembers as a child playing hospital and doctor with the neighborhood kids. What seems like a random bunch of stuff...now fits together. In 1976, he and his new wife went to Nashville and recorded a solo gospel album with the Rockland Road Band (Oak Ridge Boys). They packed up the van, and toured the US putting on gospel concerts. After that tour, he embarqed on his next adventure...healing.

Tim Weir attended Palmer College of Chiropractic, graduating in 1981 and has been in practice ever since. He now lives and practices in Raleigh, NC and has 4 wonderful children and 4 grandchildren. In a day of "polished" shows with gorgeous hosts that work out in gyms 6 hours a day and have chefs that cook their meals and personal trainers that spend hours with them, Dr. Weir decided he needed to push beyond his limits and provide a show that gave practical advice. Dr. Weir explains it this way: "I realized that I was not Brad Pitt and I don't have 6-pack abs. The fact is, I make mistakes - I eat wrong from time to time, and I sure don't have time in my day to spend it in a gym. NEITHER DO YOU! There has to be a way to live a powerful, healthy life and do that in the body God gave you. It is possible."
